You are an enthusiastic resident of the city and know plenty to tell. You enjoy meeting other people, and you are free for half a day fairly regularly.
Who can become a greeter
A greeter is not a professional guide, but knows their way around Maastricht and has plenty to tell about it. You enjoy meeting other people and talking with them. You do not just tell; you ask questions and listen.
What it takes
We are a team that tries, as colleagues, to honour as many requests as possible. There is room to contribute in different ways (covering a particular language, for example), but volunteering is not without commitment. So we expect you to be available fairly regularly to take on a walk.
What it is not
It is not Maastricht marketing, it is not a side job, and it earns you nothing.
