Our greeters are volunteers from Maastricht who walk their city with visitors, for free. No tour bus, no umbrella held in the air, no group of thirty. Just you, up to five friends, and a local with time.
A greet is not a tour. There is no fixed route and no script.
You tell us roughly what interests you and when you are here, we match you with a greeter who feels the same way about it, and the two of you walk. Some walks are about buildings. Some end at a market stall. Most end at a table.
No fee, and please do not tip.
However long the conversation lasts.
